Fishing Excursion

Beginning June 1, 2009 the Retail Alliance Council of Smith Mountain Lake is engaging shoppers in a Fishing Excursion.  To participate consumers must obtain a RAC of SML Fishing Excursion License available at all participating merchants. Participants need to "catch" a minimum of 15 different fish/stamps from participating member locations and then "cast" their license into receptacles found at RAC member locations before Labor Day, September  7, 2009.

Once the participant has collected 15 stamps, submit the Fishing Excursion

License to a participating merchant to be entered to win one of three prizes ranging from $250-$500.  Prizes will be awarded in the form of gift certificates that will be honored at RAC member locations ONLY.  Change will be dispensed in the form of a gift certificate unless the balance is under $10.  No purchase is necessary to participate.

BONUS: Check out new member locations listed at www.SMLRetailAlliance.com <http://www.SMLRetailAlliance.com>  for a chance to win the "Over the Limit" prize of $100.  Participants with all 15 stamps PLUS a minimum of 7 different fish/stamps from NEW members (listed on the website, not listed on the fishing license) will be eligible to win the "OVER THE LIMIT" bonus.  Again, no purchase is necessary.

All prizes will be drawn LIVE on Lake Radio WSLK on September 9, 2009.

If you need assistance with your license, please call our RA Director of Membership Service line @ 540-597-3932.  Listen to Lake Radio WSLK 880AM daily for updates on participating merchants and new members.
